Introduction Skills Clusters comprise of a cluster of accredited units of competency aligned to the requirements of industry. They support students to develop competency and skills in a particular work area, allow students to explore pathways and the VET environment and can count towards a full qualification in the future.
This skills cluster offers essential foundational skills for working in a commercial kitchen, enabling Year 10
students to explore various areas of interest within the VET environment. It focuses on developing pre-vocational
skills, preparing students for the workforce, and providing an opportunity to experience different sectors before
pursuing a specific qualification.
